Review summary

Well maintained ship, but could use some refurbishing. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. A variety of activities were offered for all ages; however, most passengers were older adults.

Food and Dining

Food was awesome. Huge selection and top quality compared to other cruise lines we have been on (Royal, Princess, Carnival) Very attentive waiter and assistant waiters.

Entertainment

Celebrity singers / dancers were just okay. Outside entertainers were excellent.

The most friendly and accommodating staff we every experienced on ANY cruise line. Everyone always asking if you were enjoying your vacation and whether or not they could assist you with anything.

Ship was older, but very well maintained and exceptionally clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Carpet in staterooms needs replaced and bathroom shower tiles, etc. need replaced.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Not much to do at the Dockyard. Could skip this and not miss a thing. Horseshoe Bay beach is a must see. Hamilton was just okay - shopping nothing special as compared to other Caribbean ports, and items were very expensive. Buy the 3 day bus / ferry pass for $28. (Taxis are very expensive.) It's a great deal, but allow plenty of time to travel to and from your destination. The ferry is the fastest (25 minutes from the ship to Hamilton - 45 minutes to St. George - but on the return trip the ferries fill up quickly. It you have to take the bus, allow at least 1 hour to return from Hamilton..

Pros: Service and food were excellent. Nice ship even though older, still well maintained. Easy to get around and embarkation and debarkation were the most efficient we have ever experienced.

Cons: Slight mildew smell in the bathroom.

Recommends Celebrity Summit? Yes!
