Sitka Nat'l Historic Park is interesting and it is an easy walk to the totems scattered through the park. Be sure to talk to the local craftsmen at the center about their craft. Ernie's Bar is a real Alaskan watering hole not to be missed and a great place to wait out the rain. Fourth of July parade was a lovely example of small-town celebrations.

You want to see Bald Eagles this is the place. I never saw so many in my life. They are in every tree and flying all over the place. Watch from the ship, you can see them diving and picking up fish. It is Awesome!!
