This was by far my favorite port. Again, no excursion, but we did go to a local bear rescue which was interesting and helped the non-profit organization. Then we walked through their Totem Pole loop, but first saw more salmon than you can imagine swimming upstream to lay eggs and then, sadly, they just stay and die there. The smell I could have done without, but the amount of salmon you can see on this bridge was spectacular. I was told it is an early to mid September site though. The nature of this port was amazing. You can really "feel" the fresh air on your face, lungs, etc...

Nice little town, at least they had shops and tours! Went to Bear Fortress, a sanctuary, only time we saw any. Small but informative. Pretty little cathedral in center of town. Dined at WestMark, good food and nice atmosphere.
