If you are craving McDonalds there is one about 1 mile from the drop off point. I good walk but you can get your $1 Diet Coke as your reward once you are there.

This was our favorite port. The landscape was the most beautiful on the entire trip. We were lucky to see this on a clear, sunny day.

We went on the wildlife adventure on a small boat and it was great. We didn’t see any bears, which was disappointing but we did see a ton of bald eagles, otters, deer, sea lions and a variety of other birds.

I had a pedal pub excursion booked for Sitka but it was canceled the day before for some reason. So I just spent the time wondering the small town and looking at the stores. I’m sure there are plenty of excursions to do but I just use the cancellation as a reason to spend a port day on the ship with even fewer people.

No excursions. Took shuttle to town and enjoyed walking around. Used map from ship to guide us to historic places.
