Found the George Inlet Cannery tour coupled with the wildlife tour to be very interesting. The tour guide on the bus from Ketchikan out to George Inlet was too inexperienced to be very effective. Nice girl, but...

So quaint and unique. We didn't have enough time in port. Didn't enjoy leaving the ship so early to enjoy the city.

There was a great deal of road construction and we spent most of our time waiting in traffic rather than seeing the sites.

The $179 boat tour for that price was not worth it. You see almost same hills and even better views with glaciers from ship itself at Juneau

We took a tour and the guide was more interested in giving his political views than telling us about the history of the town, This we did on our own though.
