Review summary

The Norwegian Wind to Alaska was fabulous. The staff was friendly and the inside stateroom more than comfortable. The Free-Style dining was certainly a plus and the food in all of the restaurants was wonderful. We found it a little difficult navigating the ship as the upper floors were inaccessible from certain elevators. It took a while to get use to the layout. The itinerary was fabulous and the shore excursions were wonderful. We love Norwegian and sail with them often.

The food was excellent in all of the restaurants. Free-Style dining is a definite plus.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows we attended were above average. We particularly liked the comedian. What a hoot!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The layout of the ship left a great deal to be desired. Difficult to gain access to the upper levels from some of the floors. Otherwise, decor, cleanliness, and condition - excellent.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Large and comfortable inside stateroom with lots of storage.

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

So quaint and unique. We didn't have enough time in port. Didn't enjoy leaving the ship so early to enjoy the city.

Juneau, Alaska

Too little time. The best shore excursion we have ever taken was the helicopter and dogsledding.
Don't Miss: Dogsledding is a "don't miss". Expensive but certainly worth it.

Skagway, Alaska

Plenty of time in this port and well worth walking around. We took the train ride and loved it. Spent time in the shops and restaurants. A very wonderful day.
Don't Miss: The train ride.

Pros: The free-Style Dining
