Note that there is a free shuttle bus ( hop on hop off - freeeeeee) taking you to all the local sights (It stops outside the port at the bus stop), also note free WiFi at McDonald's in shopping centre (one of the shuttle bus stops). Go to the Totem Pole Museum - you may want to walk there at beginning of your tour, because watching the salmon climb up the stream (by bridge) is amazing as is seeing all the baby salmon further up the river (All freeeee). NOTE: THE LADY AT THE TOURIST INFORMATION IN THE PORT WAS NOT HELPFUL, AND DID NOT TELL US ANY OF THIS USEFUL INFO EVEN THOUGH SHE COULD SEE THAT I AM USING A CANE

70 degree day. Very lively, large port. Lots of shopping and restaurants available at the port as you disembark. Duck tour was entertaining. Saw several bald eagles by the pier as duck vehicle exited the ocean.

No excursion but to see the shops and restaurants. The weather was gorgeous and we got to enjoy this beautiful little town the whole day we were docked. We loved it.

Great port and had been th r pr vividly so I walked around town, enjoyed lunch at the New York Hotel cafe (vegan root veggie salad fantastic) and off to the Polar treats for an Ice Cream. It was 60, sunny and perfect for walking around creek street

There is not much shopping time at all in Ketchican so if you book any excursions, make sure to shop as soon as you dock because you won't have much time afterwards. I booked the double Lumber Jack show and Saxman Village tour and that is all that I had time to do. Would have liked to browsed through some shops.
