Review summary

As first time cruisers, and not the type of people that like to be around a lot of other people, we really enjoyed cruising the inside passage. We felt like we had enough options to get away from the thousands of people. What my husband was disappointed in was the smoking section, which was only one little area on the top deck.

We did not do an excursion, but explored on our own.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We booked a seaplane excursion over the Misty Fjords with Taquan air and loved it.

Juneau, Alaska

We booked the seaplane excursion to Taku lodge for the salmon lunch and were glad we did it...it was unique and beautiful.

Skagway, Alaska

We took the White Pass train up and rode bikes down the mountain into Skagway. It was exhilarating and a great way to see more of the countryside.

Victoria, British Columbia

We didn't book an excursion, but wish we would have because we wasted time just walking around the downtown area.
