Review summary

As first time cruisers, and not the type of people that like to be around a lot of other people, we really enjoyed cruising the inside passage. We felt like we had enough options to get away from the thousands of people. What my husband was disappointed in was the smoking section, which was only one little area on the top deck.

We took the White Pass train up and rode bikes down the mountain into Skagway. It was exhilarating and a great way to see more of the countryside.

Is smoking allowed on the Waterfront deck which is the case for other same class NCL ships?

I feel the same way. The only time I felt crowded was on the elevators but I would duck out and take the stairs. I was traveling with my Mom she would just meet me at the stairs lol. She felt the same as your husband not enough smoking areas but being a exsmoker when she would go I would spa so it worked out on my end lol. Going on carnival in alittle over a year and have noticed they do have more places for smokers so I see now what she was saying. But The Bliss was beautiful and so was the crew Glad I got to go on first Alaska cruise
