Another nice port. Lots of shopping going on here. Jeff and his buddies did the sea plane excursion here and loved it. The Lumberjack show was great, too!

Fabulous!! We did the bus tour of city and Saxman Village, our tour guide was pleasant and informative. We also hired our own seaplane and visited Misty Fjords National Monument Wilderness!! If you're going there...Call Michelle (owner/pilot) at Island Wings Air Service and tell her one of the beavers sent you! The seaplane trip was well worth the price…the best excursion our group had!

Very pretty port! We went to Saxman native village to see totems, totem carving and dance show by Tlingit natives. Very nice yarn store called Fabulous Fiber Arts, about 10 minutes walk from the ship. Lots of Alaska dyed yarn!

We loved this port, so quaint! Yes we did an excursion but were not happy with how long it took to get off the ship to get to our excursion and how long it took to get back on the ship! Never seen anything like it in all my years of cruising!

Didn't do any excursions there. We ate crab at the Alaskan King Crab company and had a fantastic lunch. We then walked around this historic town and took in the sights

Ketchikan did not feel like Alaska in a lot of ways. There is a lot of construction going on. And it is really I guess too big to make it feel much like Alaska. We also feel that we didn’t get enough time in port to really rate it well. We did go to the lumberjack show. That was well worth it.

This was a fun town with lots of history. We toured the former "red light" district, now shops and restaurants. The salmon weren't running, but we saw where they would be in a short time swimming upstream. We enjoyed the shops here.

The excursion to Misty Fjord was excellent, highlighted by spotting a blue whale, black bears, and mountain goats. The weather at Misty Fjord was outstanding in August.
