Relaxing until the land journey, bad hotels booked
Embarkation

It was as expected, wait in line, move to another line and wait - etc
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We chose to stay very casual and the restaurant did not disappoint. Great variety of offerings and the service was spot on.
Onboard Activities

We chose to try the services of the spa one day, happy with the services but did not enjoy the sales pitch at the end. $75 spa service, which was great, but they wanted to sell me a little over $1,000 in product. I would have paid a bit more for the service to not have the sales pitch.
Entertainment

Enjoyed the night club and music. Great variety
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was perfect. He knew that our goal was to relax and he was not over assuming. We did not experience the folded towels each night as we were in our room on the balcony a great deal but we did enjoy their interest in our relaxing and enjoyment of the ports etc.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the ship and our cabin. We felt as if we were the first ones to use our cabin. Great housekeeping! The dining areas were clean and well maintained
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was a good size for our needs, the balcony was perfect. Regarding the cleanliness, we felt as we were the first ones to use the cabin. It was spotless.
A nice quick stop here, touristy but fun. Ate at a local restaurant and it did not disappoint. Oysters were amazing in each port and the halibut cooked to perfection.
We enjoyed just a few moments here before we board a flight to Fairbanks. In Fairbanks is where we stayed for the first night of our land journey. The hotel we were placed in was horribly dirty; it crossed the line to unsanitary. I would be very cautious of the land journey hotels. If I experienced this land hotel before the cruise, I would have gone to every length possible to cancel the cruise. It was horrible. I have reported it 3 times now and have not yet received a response.
