Booked a shuttle trip to Mendenhall Glacier via Juneau Tours. Did the mile walk from the visitor center to Nugget Falls, which is definitely worthwhile.

LOVED Juneau. Tracy's King Crab Shack was a highlight for amazing food, great & quick service. We went whale watching with Dolphin Jet Boat Tours. There were only 19 people on our boat which was fabulous for giving everyone a bit of room to get around on board and see everything we saw which included a rare sighting of an Orca named Jack, a couple of Humpback whales (a lot of sightings of them both), porpoises, a seal and an amazing water view of Mendenhall Glacier.

We did the Whale watching and Glacier again. Weather was beautiful people were friendly. We saw more whales and glaciers on the jewel than on our excursion.

We did an excursion that took us to Mendenhall Glacier, a salmon hatchery, and the beautiful Glacier Gardens. We also took the tram up to Mount Roberts.
