The town itself was ok again a bunch of jewelry stores which were a turn off for us. The excursions were good though.

Bike and Brew Glacier View. This included a 8 mile bike ride to see a glacier for across a lake then to Mendenhall Glacier State Park for a Hour visit. After we were taken back into Juneau, about 1 mile from ship to sample some Alaskan Beer. Another great Excursion. (FYI: one hill on the bike ride to overcome.)

Awesome fun town lots to do, no need for a tour. Took a bus from the tram to mendenhall glacier. Hiked the nugget falls trail which was very easy, the falls were beautiful. Walked around town and lots of shopping, don't miss the Alaska shirt company!

Bought the tram ride up the mountain for $49 or so. Wished we would have just hiked up the 2 miles (tram ride down was free once you ate at the restaurant up there, which we ate at and the nachos were delicious). hiked up about a mile passed the restaurant to the cross (steep and you need hiking shoes), beautiful view and worth the hike even for people who aren't normal hikers.

did the "Whale Tails and Ales" tour. Nice ride on a boat to see whales and seals then off for a tour of the Alasken Brewing Company. Found our favorite Amber and Smoked Porter beers!

We loved Juneau's town and Mendenhall Glacier even though this was a fairly short stop. We were very disappointed that our Whale Watch was cancelled due to high winds and waves. Our travel agent, Alesia, quickly got us a refund and set up a group to tour the city of Juneau and take us to Mendenhall Glacier. We definitely need to go back when we have more time and, hopefully, better weather.

We did an excursion that included some glacier gardens with upside down trees, a museum and totem park and a hatchery. The Mendenhall Glacier and the Falls were breathtaking. Loved the walk down the path to the Falls. It was all fun and informational

lots of things to do here at this port. We bought the excursion for glacier park and the tram that went up the mountain. Also, we ordered a bucket of Alaskan King Crabs at Tracy Crab restaurant since it is very close to the ship.
