You get what you paid for with Holland America Oosterdam. Carnival and Norwegian would probably a better choice if I were to visit Alaska via cruise ship. Oosterdam Holland America have too many hidden fees. Be sure to ask for price different between a waiter or server since my mineral water bottle is $5.75 from a waiter vs $6.33 from a server. I got charge $6.33 for a glass of juice when playing slot in the casino and this is ridiculous.

Ask for pricing from every servers since price differ and never assumed it is free since it is non-alcoholic beverages
lots of things to do here at this port. We bought the excursion for glacier park and the tram that went up the mountain. Also, we ordered a bucket of Alaskan King Crabs at Tracy Crab restaurant since it is very close to the ship.
Would have more things to do if the ship port in the morning. But the cruise ship port here at 6 pm to 11 pm. So, not too much you can do since the sun is going down fast.
