Tracy Arm Fjord is the excursion to do. Have been on cruise that takes you into it....so much better that glacier bay....if you do nothing else...do this.

Went on whale watching and glacier tour, whale watching was very disappointing, on boat for 3 hours only to see a couple of whales from a great distance. We only spent an hour at the Mendenhall glacier which we would had loved to spend more time there.

If you like salmon go on the salmon fishing tour and catch your own. We each caught one and had it shipped home.

All about shopping, and we are more about Alaskan's natural sites. We did enjoy Tracy's Crab Shack, although we shared the expensive meal.
