My wife's favorite. Saw 2 Bald Eagles from our Balcony Deck immediately. Saw 10+ bald Eagles on the bay near shuttle drop in town. The Office Bar and Local Brewery were nice, however we were to early in the season for fresh crab. :-(

Icy Strait Point is small and very commercial. Took the bus ($5 round trip) the short distance into Hoonah. We wanted to see that town since we'd seen it featured so much on Alaskan reality TV shows. There was really nothing there. It's a small, uncommercial village.

Our favorite!!! Very clean! Small touches included several log burning outdoor fires and free umbrellas (it is a rain forest). We saw several killer whales, the native humpback whale named Frederick, and many Eagles. We did a kayaking trip into Hoonah, which was nice. I would got back to Icy Strait Point again!

The best of all the ports for whale watching as several were by the ship most of the day. Very nice walking boardwalk, this is a very small town, unsure how it could accommodate multiple ships, but the excursion area was well staffed and organized

Definitely designed for the tourist, but great selection of local art and culture. Enjoyed the wildlife walk and tour with native security to protect from bears. Tour guide was well educated and could speak about local fauna and wildlife as well a native culture.

Not much to do here unless you have an excursion. Do not buy king crab from here. If you're going to Juneau, tracy crab is cheaper and have better combo

Interesting port. Loved that it was all indigenous owners.

Went down the World's Tallest Ziprider. Loved it more the second time than the first in 2017. Whale Watching was awesome. Saw lots of whale tales!!! Boat driver and his sister were very knowledgeable and pleasant.
