THE PROPER WAY TO COUNTDOWN TO YOUR CRUISE

Do it the way most folks who served counted down...usually to "ETS"...Estimated time of Separation...translated getting out! first, you don't count the day you're in..and that starts ASA you get up...things are already shot becuz you're still there...and you certainly don't count the day you actually leave your house...THATS called a "wake-up"...sooo. since our cruise is 2/7, and we drive down a day early...and since today doesn't count..its "8 and a wake-up!!!" now isn't that better than 9 or 10? get in the habit, and you'll never count down any other way. The Mistress of the Universe thought I was nertz, but she's been doing it for years now....far more accurate, and shorter!!

This is what happens when its too soon to pack, and you've checked your paperwork at least 4x, and its cold and raining....and you've got everything you need, its just kinda scattered...

I like that. never thought of it that way.

We are 1 Tuesday away from being in New Orleans. That sounds good.

39 for us

HMMM...explain not counting "sail away"...that sounds,,,,,creative!! anything that reduces the count works for me.

We have a friend that does that for Renaissance Festivals and we therefore call it Rennie Math

Obviously, you don't count today, don't count the travel day, don't count the "sail away" day and don't count the weekends. We set sail Feb. 16th so we have 13 days rather than 18. Sounds better.Wink

P.S. We retired so no working days.

I remember doing that...weekends didn't count...welllllll…...

Better than that - only 35 more "working" days!

Always count that way ... and look for other creative ways to shave time off ... if that is ever possible
