THE PROPER WAY TO COUNTDOWN TO YOUR CRUISE

Do it the way most folks who served counted down...usually to "ETS"...Estimated time of Separation...translated getting out! first, you don't count the day you're in..and that starts ASA you get up...things are already shot becuz you're still there...and you certainly don't count the day you actually leave your house...THATS called a "wake-up"...sooo. since our cruise is 2/7, and we drive down a day early...and since today doesn't count..its "8 and a wake-up!!!" now isn't that better than 9 or 10? get in the habit, and you'll never count down any other way. The Mistress of the Universe thought I was nertz, but she's been doing it for years now....far more accurate, and shorter!!

This is what happens when its too soon to pack, and you've checked your paperwork at least 4x, and its cold and raining....and you've got everything you need, its just kinda scattered...

I envy that ability! But, Colorado is home.Big Smile

Gonna spend over a week next summer in Colorado Springs area...by then we'll be looking to escape the southern humidity/heat for awhile...

For me... 2 more shifts until vacation! Vacation happens to be 3 days before travel begins and 5 days until boarding the ship... Anything to make it shorter! Big Smile

We have a new winner!!!!! wait, red flag...looks like a vackay countdown...hmmm..after review.the original call stands!!

If you are here between June 15th and Aug 4th on a weekend, you should come to the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur (not too far North of the Springs) and look us up. The Duke and Duchess of Norfolk will be there.

Gonna miss it..will arrive 8/18...please extend my humblest apologies to their Royal Highnasses...

We will be sorry to miss you. It would have been a treat to meet you, even if not on a ship.

Oh how sweet that sounds.

Anything is possible AUNTIE... lets get a bit closer...errr….to our travel date....umm..you know what I mean. Been awhile since we did a certified road vacay....the plan is to find someplace where we could spend a couple weeks every summer. Even tho I prefer heat anytime over winter, sometimes enough is enough...

Having lived in Texas a couple of tours, I understand completely!
