We were on the Legend and we noticed only a "snoozin" tag to hang on our door. We asked the steward we were missing a "cruising" sign. He said they don't have the signs anymore, just snoozing to hang on the door. I wonder if this is on all the Carnival ships or not.

Snoozin Cruising signs on your cabin door

No “cruizin” sign on the Conquest last March, just the “snoozin” sign.
We were on the Dream and they had the Snoozin door hanger as well.
Noticed several folks who used erasable boards on their doors to let their group know their whereabouts. Of course, strangers took the opportunity to add comments (some quite funny) but seemed like a pretty decent system.
Never noticed any change.
Our Steward told me to hang a tie on the door knob.....He went to university in the US to learn Hotel management... and had a hell of a sense of humour.... It worked by the way....
Not a coat hanger?

On Splendor last October there was the Snoozin door hanger.
On Breeze in December it was the new signs. Probably to avoid confusion or pranksters flipping it over.
as an airline crew member, I have learned to never use the "Cruising/Snoozing/Makeup" room cards as it notifies crooks and thieves where people are located and/or unoccupied room. When I was on HAL Eurodam, I did end up using the "Do not disturb" for one night as we wanted to sleep in a bit from the night before, however, I never tend to use them to allow others know whether you're there or not.
This was the case on the Carnival Inspiration when I was on her in May.
On the Freedom in October, don't remember seeing any signs to hang on door!
NCL has a wheel just outside the cabin, Do Not Disturb, Make Up Cabin, Turn Down Cabin, and something else..........
The newe ships like Breakaway no longer have the wheel. They have little tiny lights above the door. White green and red. Cannot see them unless they are on, In the cabin you have 2 switches that can be on or off or in between. One is for make up cabin and the other is for do not disturb. Based on these the lights are on. Generally red means do not disturb, green means make up cabin and white means cabin has been made up by the steward.
