Should Cruise Lines Bring Back the Midnight Buffet?

I am not sure how many of you remember the Midnight Buffet. Years ago we had hugely popular midnight buffets and chocolate extravaganzas. Recently I hear many passengers lament the lack of food available after the dinner hour. Should cruise lines bring back these events or provide more food options other than just pizza? What do you think...

Love all the photos. Thanks for taking the time to find them and post. Brings back happy memories!

Yes, I know it was a cost savings decision and I doubt that they will return. I agree with you that there does need to be more late night dining options offered.

I like the sound of this, too.

Yes this is always a problem at buffets. It is bad enough that some overload their plates and food falls off while they search for a table, but more importantly they don't finish what they have taken and it goes to waste.

Oh, I'd pay to do a chocolate extravaganza- let me know if it ever comes back!

In all honesty, if I went to a buffet that looked like that, I'd be afraid to eat it!

Such wonderful art!

Here are a few

I do not miss the midnight buffet , I like princess ships they have late night snacks

I know I have others somewhere

I used to take pictures at the midnight buffet, and I did eat. If waste is an issue, maybe there is some way to scale it down.
