Proof of Vaccination

Hey everybody, I am so happy to hear that cruising (fingers crossed) will start in mid-July. But does anybody else have an issue with giving private information of a medical nature to a third party to exercise your rights to freedom of movement? I feel that the Gov't is trying to get around a vaccine passport by co-erceing big business to do it for them.

Got my shot for cruising. Big brother wants to know so be it.

Put up a link about that please.

Yes I have an issue, but I'll show my card to the agent at check-in. Not much different than showing shot records to get kids enrolled in school.

And how is this any different than the gov't wanting things like...drivers licenses, passports and a host of other things that directly affect your "freedom of movement"....besides, wonder just how many people actually read the fine print on things like the "privacy notices" tacked onto virtually every website you may want to log into and do biz with.....yes, a small part of me kind of resents it....but at this point, I just don't care.....I'm more concerned with the mechanics of boarding...it might take triple the time given the new procedures....whatever they are....and the cruise terminals are already zoos....even for folks who know what they're doing......at least they used to.....

What is .. is. Someone has to check for a vaccination.

Agree.. They already know what they need to..They track us with our phones, satellites, and cameras.. letting them see what my vaccine number is, is not my biggest worry.

They already have my cc number, my husband’s ss number (for military discount), our passport numbers, address, phone numbers plus who knows what else. Letting the cruise lines have a copy of my vaccination record is way down on my worry list.

You're required Yellow Fever vaccine, with evidence that it happened, and some others to travel already. This is no different.

Nope, no problem at all.

Nope, not at all. The card doesn't have any medically-revealing information on it, just verification that you got the shot,
