Welcome to the Forum, NurseNancy - its great to have you here!

Welcome to the forums, we are a nice bunch and can be helpful to any questions asked. Between all of us we have been there and done that to most cruises, ships and ports. Even those of us with 20 or 30 cruises under our belts we still have questions on places we have not gone to yet.

Please join in on asking questions and answering others peoples questions that you know about. We are a lot smarter as a cruise community as were are as a single person.

You'll find lots of useful information. Welcome to the forum!!

Hi there! Just starting to join in forums a bit.

Welcome to the site!! Enjoy the cruise!!

Welcome to Cruiseline! Glad to see more people coming in for the conversation. And if a question is accidentally answered, so much the better!Big Smile

After taking my first cruise in '96, it took me almost 20 years to realize that cruising was not as expensive as I thought, and have branched out from the least expensive line to the "better" mainstream lines (Celebrity and Princess")

I hope that your journeys (both your next cruise as well as your cruising career) are full of sunny days and smooth seas!

Welcome to Cruiseline.com Jack! We all love cruising and this is a great place for help planning your next trip and talking about past adventures!

This is a great forum, lots of info and helpful people. Most of the things you might have questions to is probably already on here (that's what I've found)

Good lick on your first cruise!

Since my first first post got deleted yesterday in a freak accident involving (I believe) dark matter, I'll try again. I'm R86 (or Jack is fine too) and suddenly became interested in cruises a few weeks ago, being now at the tender age of 49.

I never considered going on a cruise before because I thought they ran in the many thousands of dollars, and because I'm prone to motion sickness. When I learned I was wrong about the first thing, the second thing didn't seem to matter as much, since I know there are a variety of medications available.

Never being one to stick my toe in first, I'm booked on two Carnival cruises from Galveston (which is a 2.5 hour drive away for me). I just hope I like the first one well enough to still want to go on the second one. Big Smile
