The "Free at Sea" doesn't seem so free any more either. Their cruise prices have gone up dramatically and that "free" booze comes with a hefty gratuity charge added. I'm sure the surcharge covers the actual alcohol cost to NCL and the built in cost of booze on the cruise price is lining corporate pockets.

Also used to love the chocolate buffets that NCL used to do.

Agreed...remember those midnite chocoholic extravaganzas? the chefs used to love showing off...not many kids, past their bedtimes, besides its bad for their teeth and skin etc etc...hehehehe...just alot of greyheads shoveling chocolate everythings in, in total defiance of a gazzilion cardiologists and special diets....regretted every minute of it, and looked forward to the next one...wellllllll......

It all started going downhill when they ended the midnight buffet.

I'm sending them both to their rooms!

If you two don't stop, I'm going to turn this FORUM around.....

Thats fine, post your stuff wherever you like...doesn't change the fact that apparently NOBODY in here knew about it...but it doesn't matter, theres only a few folks in here whose posts I take as gospel anyway. Moving on.

I posted mine in the review section, since that's where they belong.

Since the return to Sailing, Royal Caribbean has been doing something similar - 4-5 daily menu items(NY Strip, Spaghetti, Herb Crusted Salmon, etc), with 3-4(free of charge) daily specials(Prime rib, lobster, etc), plus their normal "Upgrades"(filet mignon, etc)

I'm a fairly adventurous eater, where the Mrs is decidedly...not. So the change of the menu was very welcome for us.

I really dont think id be very happy at all with NCL's changes!

Dude .. do not jest .. those seem to be very real possibilities ...
