How would you rate the Ruby Princess?

Hi All,

My husband and I are looking at the 10 night Princess Ruby cruise November 30 from Fort Lauderdale. We've never sailed princess before. We have sialed Carnival and Royal. We're very low key people. We're not big drinkers or partiers. We're early 40s. We're basically looking for a cruise to relax and see some new sights. Can we get some reviews on the Ruby Princess? How would you compare it to Carnival and Royal? Pros/Cons?

Thanks!

We have sailed on the Ruby but it was years ago. The Ruby is a Grand Class ship in the Princess fleet. We enjoy the grand class ships very much. I have always enjoyed the international cafe for my morning coffee.

I agree with Yankee 47 read the reviews for the newest info.

Our cruise on the Ruby was 4 years ago, but the size of the ship hasn't changed and I can only compare ti Carnival. We like Princess for a quieter and more "sophisticated" cruise. They still have tablecloths on the table and are not as "party" orientated. Here is my review from 4 years ago:
