Plan to spend a couple of days enjoying Seattle before cruising! Pike Place is a wonderful experience! Take a walk in the early morning, watch the boothes set up and the market come alive! Visit Pike Place Starbucks (where it all began), eat breakfast at La Panier, grab a cheese snack at Beecher's, and enjoy the flowers and fruit on display. For day two hike up to the Space Needle, but be sure to make reservations to eat lunch at the restaurant on top. The observation deck is included with your meal! The price is well worth it, because the food and service is exceptional!!

My husband and I are spending three days in Seattle before our Alaskan cruise on the Norwegian Bliss on August 25, 2018 and we are going to hit ALL of your recommended spots....thanks again!!
We love Seattle and spend a few days there every summer. There's lots to see and do! The cheese curds at Beecher's in Pike Place are the best I've ever had - especially if they are warm and taken right out of the vat. Standing in line at the flagship Starbucks is a "must do " every year too. Coffee just tastes better there.
When we cruised out of Seattle on HAL, we arrived two dfyes ahead of time and toured the Seattle area doing the same things that you mentions. The weather was in the 80s and it was sunny and dry In addition we also took a ferry ride just to get out on the water.
Thanks for the input. One of my mistakes on our Alaska cruise was not spending enough time in Seattle. We did spend a couple extra days in Anchorage which was time well spent. Next time - extra days in Seattle to balance things out. Thanks!
