Review summary
My favorite highlight would be Glacier Bay! It was spectacular and we were blessed with a clear sunny day for our excursion. I commend Princess Cruise line on their excursions as they have been highly intertaining and educational!! We did the Salmon Bake at Juneau, the Liarsville camp at Skagway, and the Creek Street walk in Ketchican.
The meals were good but not great! Selection of evening entertainment did not hold our interest for very long; luckily we brought along cards and sat in the lounge areas, enjoying international coffees or mixed drinks. The Library also accomodated us with board games. We did enjoy a couple of the trivia tournaments.
I would recommend Princess to friends, but would not raise their expectations!
Unfortunately, we are spoiled by being Disney Cruisers and there is no comparison to Disney's quality; however Princess would be our second choice!

I would bring binoculars for the Alaska cruise!! Also sign up for the traditional dining plan; you will have disappointments with the "anytime" dining plan.

We love Seattle and spend a few days there every summer. There's lots to see and do! The cheese curds at Beecher's in Pike Place are the best I've ever had - especially if they are warm and taken right out of the vat. Standing in line at the flagship Starbucks is a "must do " every year too. Coffee just tastes better there.

Plan to spend a couple of days enjoying Seattle before cruising! Pike Place is a wonderful experience! Take a walk in the early morning, watch the boothes set up and the market come alive! Visit Pike Place Starbucks (where it all began), eat breakfast at La Panier, grab a cheese snack at Beecher's, and enjoy the flowers and fruit on display. For day two hike up to the Space Needle, but be sure to make reservations to eat lunch at the restaurant on top. The observation deck is included with your meal! The price is well worth it, because the food and service is exceptional!!
