DO you Choose Traditional or Anytime Dining?

I usually choose anytime because I don't necessarily eat at the same time every day ...what do you do?

I like a more flexible schedule, so anytime dinning works for us.

No sweat!

Oops! LOL I forget this isn't Funville sometimes.

I'm sailing with Royal and did the reservations through a travel agent. I updated it on the my profile, but on all my docs it still says 6... It's not a big issue for me, I was just curious. If anything I'll reach out to my TA.

If you have your cruise manager set up on the Carnival website, you can go in and edit your dining choice. If YTD is waitlisted, I would recommend keeping the time you have and just keeping an eye out to see if it becomes available, unless you would be ok if you were assigned either early or late dining if YTD doesn't open up. If you don't have any luck before you cruise, you can go to MDR on boarding day and ask if you can switch. If I remember correctly, on our last cruise there was a note in the FunTimes giving the time frame maître d would be available to help with dining times. If you don't see that, you can go to MDR and check or ask guest services.

you should be able to go to your cruise line's website and log in and change it yourself or call the cruise line and speak to a rep

Question. I believe I set up the traditional dining... Is it easy or hard to switch over to anytime dining?

We do anytime dining. We don't like to be on schedule when we are on vacation. Ports and excursion schedules are necessary, but otherwise we do as we please when we please :)

Generally we choose the 8:30pm dining. I try have a little structure when cruising- a little. If not, we will miss dinner and have to eat in the Windjammer (Royal). This way we know that we can still keep doing what we want until the required dining time. In the past we have done the my time dining and due to having fun, we missed our time frame.

Sounds good to me!
