Are the Guy's Burgers that great?

I can't wait for my next cruise to enjoy Carnival's Guy's Burger. What I want to know is...are they really that "YUMMY". Let me know ;-D

Twenty-four days....probably to the minute!

Will be enjoying one in 3 days! Cheers folks!

There was no Guy's on the Miracle, but I'll get to try it on the Sunshine next year.

Bad reviews

I'm not sure which way to take that -- lots of customers or bad reviews?

Anyway, it sure beats any chain hamburger joint around here (although the tacos here beat out the Blue IguanaBig Smile)

btw, his restaurant got slammed here in NY.

Remember, Guy Fieri isn't making every burger himself. Any burger for that matter. It's still in the hands of cooks who follow his recipes and techniques. That's a lot of trust to put out there. Most of these guys don't know or could care less about some American chef. Like I said, it's ground beef, roughly 80% lean, seasonings, and toppings. That, and whatever cooking method is used, I am guessing a grill or griddle. It ain't rocket science. It's basic food prep.

Don't be hating! LOL

Come on !!!!!! It's a friggin burger. A little thicker and a little more fat, and not overcooked, but it's still a burger. Ask me what I think of Buddy's cakes on NCL...not a lot. Overpriced, over rated. Kinda like Makers Mark bourbon, or Tony Romo. How much are these cruise lines paying these celebrity chefs to use their names and images ? And how does it affect pricing ? Do you mean to tell me a cruise line chef, can't make a decent hamburger ? That they have to go outside for inspiration ? If you ask me, the food quality has slipped recently. It was much better years ago. I don't take a cruise to have meatloaf. I make a fine one myself. Years ago we looked forward to the international variety of foods and the quality, not the name on it.

Guys Burgers really are good. I can't wait to grab one when we sail away on the Breeze January 24. That will be the first stop for my dad, my son and myself. I wouldn't surprised if my daughter stops there first also - but her food of choice will be those incredible fries!
