Had so much fun exploring Bermuda for almost three days. Got to do everything we wanted to do. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone,
October 2017 - 7 Night Bahamas & Florida (New York Roundtrip) Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway
Not a fan of the layout of this ship. Seemed like the common areas where shows or activities took place were very small. In fact in some cases you would need to get there at least 30min to get a seat for some of the more popular activities . One thing that we learn from this is if you want a water view from your table go to dinner early. When you get down to it I think the bigger ship are not for me.
November 2016 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Tampa Roundtrip) Cruise on Norwegian Jade
Had an amazing time on this ship. Weather was great. Sadly I received some bad news. While At the port of Cozumel I received news that my grandfather had passed away. NLC was very supportive when I had told them the news they even offered to help fligh us back. But because we only travel with our birth certificates that was not possible. Instead they gave me complementary ship to shore call so I could keep in touch with my family. I can not thank the NLC staff enough for doing that. Made to whole thing easier

Our first cruise was on this ship had a great time even though the weather was a little cold and rainy. Had to miss a the port great stirrup cay due to ruff water. We cruised in November 2015

Cruise tips
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Just did a beach transfer. The weather did not cooperate but still able to relax. Ended up staying in port longer due to bad weather forecast. This means that we would not be stopping at great stirrup cay.
Went to coral world which was neat to see some of the animals up close especially the sea lion. This was purchased through the ship. The transportation back to the ship had a strong diesel fuel smell. So bad I gave me a headache and I had to hand wash the clothes.
Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
Just explored the area around where we dock. This was our first time visiting this port. Will be going back next November think we will plan an excursion.
Norwegian Escape
Reserve the Choir of Man. The theater is smaller than expected coming from a larger ship.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We went to the animal preserve. We got to hold monkeys and birds. This excursions was again through the ship. The start of this excursions was very disorganized. The visit to the animals was amazing.
We just explored on our own and do some shopping. The vendors seemed to be more pushy in trying to get you in their store to buy something.
Did not do any exploration just drove to the port to get on the ship
Went zip lining for the first time. Was a great experience. I can not wait to do it again. The down side is I tried to snorkel but the water was to mucky so you could not see any thing.
Had a great excursions with the ship to the ruins. Our tour guide angel was amazing and very knowledgeable.
Norwegian Joy
Check out the observation lounge on deck 15. Pretty cool place to watch when sailing away.
Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda
Did a dolphin experience, we did it through the ship and there was absolutely no upside to booking it though the ship. Also cost $20 more, even with the discount and shore credit.
Norwegian Dawn
We had two great shore excursions that we booked through the ship. The best advice I can give is to do your research about the ship. The ship is smaller so it doesn’t not have the big attractions like water slides or rock climbing.
Did not explore but embarkation was a breeze.
Did not see much of the city. The hotel we stayed at had a free shuttle service to and from the port. There was a bit of confusion with that.
Was pretty cool to learn about the history of the island. We also got to see some of the main tourist attractions. We even got to shop a little. Once again our visit was a little rainy. Still enjoy visiting Nassau
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
Great island, best part of the trip. So glade we got to visit the island. Plenty of food, sun, and chairs. Water was clear and refreshing. Can not wait to visit again.
