Good cruise. They need better entertainment and definitely fix the air on deck 4!!!

The seas were calm and the weather was warm and sunny for most of the trip. It was nice to sit in on of the deck chairs on the promenade deck and read a book and watch the ocean go by. Very relaxing cruise.

The cruise was a wonderful trip and the fall colors really made it special. We had some typical North Atlantic fall weather but all in all it was great. The ports were a good mix for everyone and the time in each port seems just right.We really enjoy Holland America cruise line and know the passengers are going to be a bit older which tends for a more quiet and relaxing cruise. The service and facilities on the Zuiderdam are top notch. The Zuiderdam is an older ship and is showing her age but is kept up nicely and very clean. We love the smaller ships and have been on Zuiderdam several times and will sail on her again.

Over all I would definitely recommend this cruise. I know if we had not visited Greenland and Iceland on a cruise we would never have gone. The Atlantic crossing was a bit rough. Two nights we were told to 'batten down the hatches' so to speak. The excursions are not inexpensive on this cruise. For the most part the ports and guides are very good.

We had a very nice time. The only negatives was the undependable internet access and the food was definitely not as good as our last Holland America cruise. The exception was the specialty restaurants which were still very good.

Most amazing ports of call. Truly a bucket list cruise for us! Even cruised into Artic circle so we all for certificates.

Was second with this line and have one in fall lined up, if no improvement, we will go back to one of the others. Sorry to say because we like this size ship best.

Holland Zuiderdam heated for seniors. Many handicapped on ship. Shows geared to seniors also. If young, would recommend another ship.

I loved the days at sea. I took classes at the America's Test Kitchen, and some of the other seminars. There was a lot to do... never got board!

The cruise was a collection cruise of two different cruises. The second part took us to the Baltic Countries and St. Petersburg. It was amazing!

We love cruising on HAL. This one had a wonderful itinerary even with a few we had visited before. Service is excellent and the food was delicious.

This cruise had a very mature look to it. There were still plenty of younger families and guests, not the partying college crowd though. This cruise was very relaxing and slow paced. We really enjoyed the staff and crew and look forward to seeing their smiling faces in Oct. when we do the Canada/New England cruise.
