great time. would recommend this trip to anyone.

Wonderful food and great service and staff. Unfortunately the ship was very moldy and when we tried to tell the customer service desk - they kept telling us to come back later(after we waited in line many times for at least 30 minutes.) Also the only place to lay outside in the sun was in the back of the ship where there were smokers and smoke from the smoke stacks. I was sick most of the cruise from coughing and not being able to breath. I have gone on 1-2 cruises every year for over ten years and never have experience this before. Very disappointing for Holland America

Nice trip with the grandchildren. Islands didn't offer too much for us but grandchildren did their own thing such as scuba, snorkeling and beach work. We had some good tours. The sub to the ocean floor was great. We also did sightseeing trips giving us an overview. Excursions were expensive. I wouldn't recommend this trip to anyone. One section especially the last portion was enough. Virgin Island was the best island. After awhile the islands all look the same with the vendors selling the same things. Too much advertising for jewelry. Internet was expensive on the ship. Bed was terrible. Room as good. Food was OK.

Holland America is great for multi-generational and or older groups and is very nice without being overly priced or over run by single and kids.

On and off was easy and fast, very well coordinated to minimize wait times.

great experience, except in the dining experience as a vegetarian. They always get the special order wrong and I was server the same dinner 3 days in a row even though I ordered something differedt. At disembarkmetn I ended up with a broken suitcase handle and a cut finger as a result. Also a bottle of liquor broke because it was not padded properly in the hand carried box. Big diasppointment with the packaging at the duty free store. They need to have bubble wrap instead of paper bags. Please advise who will pay of the broken sitcase handle.

Staff great, ship clean, food good, shore excursions horrible.

The number of days at sea combined with onboard activities bored m3 to tears. If reading books or watching movies on your stateroom tv is not your favorite pastime, this cruise is not for you.

Panama canal (partial transit) great views and opportunity to relax and unwind. Neptune Suite is a MUST. HAL remains thoughtful in their approach even if execution is a tad problematic sometimes. Would recommend to folks who want a very low key relaxing trip.

This was the Best cruise we've ever taken! We've sailed four other lines, but will stick to Holland America in the future. Really, we can't say enough. The staff was So very kind and helpful.

5 days with insufficient A/C in cabin. Tub drained slow. Broken, fogged, or dirty windows throughout ship. Closed 1/2 of the buffet due to excessive condensation. Ran out of orange juice and bacon 1 sea day morning. Completely close down buffet 3 times throughout the day. Stopped show due to mechanical stage issues. Ran out of ice at self serve areas daily. Ran out of plates and glasses in buffet. Removed top rail around part of back deck; strung flimsy line. Safety issue! No poolside entertainment.

Great introduction to Quebec, Nova Scotia & Bar Harbor, Boston & Cape Canaveral. Will go back to explore more one day.

Fall colors were beautiful at the ports. Had a lot of rough weather out at sea, bad enough to close the Charlottetown port so that we couldn't stop there. Other than that, which is out of everyone's control, we had a good cruise.

The New York embarkation was a royal mess. It took over2.5 hours to be picked up and transported to ship. Should there ever be a next time, I will take my own transportation. The assigned room was not on the ship level as promised in writing. When I called the booking company the agent was tort and insulting this alone is enough for me not to use the service again. On the other note janelle is an asset to them she originally book the cruise and did a good job. It was another member that was crude and insulting.

Missed ports of call because of bad weather and a 'search and rescue" operation for another ship. Did not dock in Manhattan as planned because of damage to the dock there and wound up in Brooklyn. Too many boring ports of call. Cruise could have been 3 days shorter. Food and service were excellent. Lincoln Center Stage was great. Prefer smaller ships than the Zuiderdam.

THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL CRUISE WITH A COUPLE OF TWISTS THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE. GREAT SHIP, STAFF AND ITINERARY. NEED TO SET A PRICE AND FORGET ALL THE SURCHARGING.

The itinerary of the cruise was excellent. The ship was well maintained, our cabin (with veranda) was immaculate and the stewards were friendly and accommodating. The food, whether in the dining room or the self-service area was very good to excellent. The food service was uniformly excellent. We attended the classical music performances in the evening, and these were very good. Otherwise, we did not make much use of the activities on the boat, other than to relax in some of the common lounges or the lido deck during cruising days.

The one thing that was a problem was that in many ports there are huge distances to cover. For those with limited mobility having a couple of go-carts to transport would be ideal. The ship did offer wheelchair assistance, but the booking of this was cumbersome. Often when one returns to the ship, there was no one to meet us with a wheelchair.

The cities of the Baltic were great. St. Petersburg was the most interesting. We took a 2 day tour from and had a wonderful experience.
