Get a cabana in the retreat! Stay away from the shore excursion ladies! Panama Canal was amazing.

Review summary

Overall the cruise was fantastic. The shore excursion ladies were horrible. Lammy was very condescending when discussing options. Did not seek to understand your needs. Every interaction with her was not pleasant. Her and her counterpart were also talking to other guests about other guests. Very unprofessional. They both should have a different career. Maybe something not customer facing.

Cabin was adequate. There was some mold in the shower/tub. We never met our stateroom attendant which was odd. He would yell hello from down the hall when we saw him.

Ship tip

Rent a cabana. That made our trip. Var and Joey were amazing at the retreat.

We did a snorkeling excursion on a catamaran. The staff were incompetent. They took us to a sunken ship and it was so wavy that you could not see a thing. They should have never let anyone go in the water due to the rough conditions. It was very dangerous unless you were an experienced swimmer. The staff had no clue what they were doing.

The boarding process for the excursion was very disorganized and the Holland staff (Lammy) was not helpful. I ended up getting out of line to help a few people with disabilities get on the bus. Not good. The excursion we took was wonderful.
