The side elevators mid ship were the easiest to access and fastest. Pay attention to the support columns in the show lounge, there are obstructed views. Many different lounges to take advantage of. Don't forget the pool behind the Lido restaurant.

Arrive early to the shows as the seats fill up quickly and several seats have blocked sight-lines.

Stay in the back of ship close to the pool and viewing area with a bar, hot tubs. Get to the Crows nest early in the morning to drink coffee and sit in the black recliners overlooking the ocean....very peaceful.

Even if you haven't booked an excursion get off the boat. There are plenty of options for people like us who don't get around very well. We found excellent 2-3 hour van-bus trips at reasonable rates that were available right on the docks at Juneau and Sitka.

Explorations Café in the Crow's nest was my favorite place to have a latte and watch the world go by. Introduce yourself to Captain Scott - He's amazing! Eat at the Pinnacle Grill, but skip LeCirque .

Wake up early to get the best spot by the pool and bring your robe.
The only thing is the Lido Restaurant was way overcrowded in the mornings. it wasn't easy to get food in an orderly fashion. Some of the food tasted old.
The Crow's Nest is the "go-to" place for those who enjoy a quieter, less crowded drink or snack with friends. Plenty of comfortable seating in a variety of arrangements, free
hors d'oeuvres, a coffee bar, daily newsletters, open jigsaw puzzles, a computer station, and friendly bar staff. Great place for whale-watching and trivia!!!

We were far forward on deck 4. We were very close to the anchors. We were wakened early in the mornings of arrivals at a couple of destinations by the noise of the anchor being played out.
