All the elevators were very fast, smooth and apprectiated. The service by all the staff sets Holland America above all the rest.

Just a general comment about cruising. Be prepared to pay a hefty price for everything not served in the buffet or "free" restaurant(s). The food for room service is "free" but there is a $13.50 service charge every time you order. So, be careful if you want a little midnight dessert, etc.

Don't book anything through Holland America, wait until you get off the ship. Accept the gym for what it is (not the company's priority) and use it to burn off those pounds that you will put on. Go to the evening shows, that's where you find out what's going on. Buy your drinks at happy hour.

Get to the comedy show early as there is only one and its held in a small lounge. It was standing room only for late comers.

Use the side glad elevators and eat in the donning room for lunch and dinner. Breakage is good in the Liddo.

If you like to utilize the Thermal Suite, this is a great location....also it is close to the dining area as well as the Observation Station and gym. Not a lot of walking from this position
