Review summary

Ketchikan was our favorite stop.  We loved the lumberjack show!  and the Totem poles.  in Juneau you can walk up to the waterfall at Mendenhall Glacier, but you have to walk fast in order to get back on time! The salmon bake was good there. I wish I had gone on a whale watching tour though.  In Sitka we did our own walking tour and saved the price of an excursion. The staff on board the ship were extremely helpful and friendly. The food on ship is fantastic!

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

should have booked a tour instead of trying to do things on our own. Lots of traffic. Defiantly see the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum!

Juneau, Alaska

Salmon was good, not enough time to walk to the glacier, should have done the whale watch instead. Too much emphasis on shopping.

Cruise Glacier Bay

I expected it to be larger, but it was September, maybe it would be bigger on a spring cruise.

Sitka, Alaska

Did our own walking tour to save money
