Extremely clean ship, wonderful friendly crew

The ship was beautiful and the staff was so nice and attenative.

The stateroom stewards were very helpful...won't mention any names, but we were on the Verandah deck.....#5, and we realy enjoyed our space.

This was our second trip on Westrdam. The food and service were excellent. The entertainment was varied and very good.

Holland America is great at what they do best: great service and great food. My wife and I are 45, and we have 4 boys aged 7 to 17. Most of the other passengers were 60+, so at times we felt out of place. Our kids still had a pretty good time, but they opted not to enroll in the organized kids programs. They felt it was too much like day care to get them away from the main areas of the ship. Nothing wrong with HAL, but while we are a younger family, we will try some other lines out.

Overall, the ship was everything I expected.

Overall this was a great cruise for first time cruisers. We celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful time. Stewards were amazingly attentive to our needs.

I had my new SO on the trip and,frankly, I was embarrased, repeatedly by one thing after another begginning with the long line to check in.

We went on this cruise to find sun. We found warm climate and friendly people. Enjoyed choices of ports, especially the Holland America Island, the sand........have never in our lives seen anything so fine and white. The room service was excellent, came when they said they would and it was always fresh. All the food was really good except for some of the seafood which had been previously frozen. Being from an area of the country that specializes in fresh seafood we just found other meats to order. The rooms were well cared for also.

Nicely kept ship. Very pretty decor and was always kept clean.

The ports we stopped at were sad looking and poor, not something you want to see on your vacation.

The ship seemed very small compared to what we've cruised on the past. The Theater, piano lounge, casino and night club were all on the same deck. A good ship for those who want a relaxing laid back cruise.

THE FOOD WAS GOOD QUAILITY YET THE COOKS RUINED EVERYTHING THEY COULD BUT THERE HANDS ON. TERRIBLE SHIP IT ROCKED AND MADE LOTS OF SOUNDS LOUD SOUNDS. PORTS WERE NOT AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE TRIP. THE ONLY NICE THING WAS OUR ROOM STEWART, OUR BALCONY AND THE PRIVATE ISLAND.

The ship was great. not much to do for teens/ not enough activites

The workers were all very friendly and helpful. Staterooms were great, more room than most. Ship is very clean and the food is great. Perfect for a relaxing vaca...not as many activities as other lines though.

Beautiful ship.Fresh flowers were a treat.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Our day on the private island was a real treat.We had booked the private oasis and we were treated to one of the best days of all our cruisings. We highly recommend this excursion to anyone with a large group.
