This was a great cruise. We worried about going too early in the season because that was the only time we could go, but everything worked out perfectly and the weather was pretty good. Of course, we came prepared with thermals and a rain jacket.
There is still a problem with Covid on ships. Two people from our group did get Covid.

Great food, great desserts. Sometimes it got a little crowded at the buffet, but we were always able to find a table for six.
Onboard Activities

We tried many of the activities and enjoyed them. One of our favorite activities was Cocktails with Stone, in which we enjoyed getting to know some of the performers on board. The evening shows were so good.
Entertainment

Great performers, although we missed having the Lincoln Center Live string quartet on board. It seems they have not had them since Covid.

Great service as always. Our room steward knew our name the first day and always visited with us. He was probably the best steward we have ever had on any cruise.

The staff were always cleaning and making sure everything was spotless.

It was an inside cabin and a little small, but the price was small as well, so we were just fine.
Ship tip
Be sure to check with the dining room when you first get on board to get an assigned table for your group. We thought we had one but didn't. They made sure we had a great table.
This was also our first time to Sitka and we loved our excursion to the bird refuge and bear sanctuary, as well as a short hike through the rainforest. So beautiful.
