If you're not interested in really good food, and you tolerate being nickled and dimed to death, this is not a bad cruise

Review summary
We loved our concierge level stateroom with lovely verandah, and also the friendliness of the staff, but the food was really mediocre, and almost every activity had an extra charge. We spent a lot of time in the stateroom and verandah, and we did a lot of room service meals rather than go to the mediocre dining rooms--the room service meals were just OK.
The scenery was just awesome though, and the places we stopped at were interesting. The Allen Marine whale watching and otter tours in Juneau and Sitka respectively were terrific!! The kelp pickles and marmalade they offered as samples were delicious!
Don't miss the cultural tour in Ketchican!! The totem poles were awesome!!!!!
This was our first cruise---we had expected more from a concierge level booking.

Ship tip
Use the side glass elevators on port and starboard--they're much faster than the regular elevators!
