very good cruise by shipmate50

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific

The cruise was very good, the ship itself was very good, all ports were good. We really think the ship needs to update their pool towels they are in very poor condition. The food on board was excellent. We found there was no Australian sport televised in the bars etc.

Wonderful escape! by cterava

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific

Generally an enjoyable vacation. We were avoiding our winter and definitely enjoyed the warm weather! The Voyager is a midsized ship, which we like. Most of the ports were great. The only port we didn't enjoy was Noumea. Vanuatu and Isle of Pines exceeded our expectations and would like to visit again.

Perfect first cruise. Chose to use it to completely relax and do almost nothing but enjoy the wonderful service, the fantastic cuisine, the spa, the movies....... Relaxation is what I wanted..... relaxation is what I got. I am very happy. I will definitely be cruising with RC again.

Great cruise for first timers by Meza

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific

The South Pacific is a great itinerary for first cruisers. This is our 2nd trip just around the South Pacific and what we found is sometimes the weather isn't great the first time and better the 2nd so don't worry about visiting a place twice. In good weather most places will standout for you. We have now been to Lifou 3 times. Mystery Island twice. If you can afford it, go the Junior Suite you get great benefits, quick on & off the boat at all ports.

I am a loyal Royal.... by jaehawkins

Sail date: /
Ship: Voyager of the Seas

I am a loyal Royal. My favourite ship so far is the Voyager of the seas. Our most recent cruise was a Friday to Monday starting in Sydney and going to nowhere. The 3 night cruises are always busier at the bars and waiting times are longer as people to to cram everything into their short trip. Last time we had a Grand suite and we were on with our 12 year old son. I didn’t like the Grand Suite. It was impractical in some ways. The tv was above our sons bed and we had to watch the thing on the other side of the room. We couldn’t see it. We were later upgraded when a passenger fell in and was flown home. Sorry to the passenger who had great taste in suites. The owners suite was worth it for a longer cruise. It was beautiful and luxurious with a spa and a sitting room, and a lounge room seperate. Kids club was great and aside from a quick visit at dinner we didn’t see much of our boy. He made friends and lived up in the teen club. The owners suite is not worth the expense on a shorter cruise as you don’t need cabin time. If you want to be in the cabin for a long time on a weekend cruise, stay home. This time we left our son behind and had an extended balcony cabin. It was great for both of us. Very spacious yet more romantic. The bed is right there lol. The three day cruise was packed with drinks. I do recommend the drinks package. We had nothing to worry about for 3 days. The ice show is always fantastic. The flow rider is always busy, but worth the fun. The three day cruises are different as there are not as many elderly passengers, and unlike P&O and Carnival there isn’t as many drunks. I found the caliber of people to be quite decent. The only time I saw issues was with people queuing at guest services. The wait time was ridiculous on the last night. People can be so impatient and rude, attacking the poor people at the desk who are doing their best. Obviously they will be busier on a shorter cruise. Do check your bill before you leave. We were charged double for a $200 purchase, and $25 for an ugly, old, plain blue pool towel that we returned. It popped up on the bill a few times. RC are renowned for their “billing errors”. I don’t know many who haven’t been stung. The food in the main dining room is boring I’m sad to say but the atmosphere is great and I really enjoy to meet new people at dinner. This is a brilliant ship!

My third cruise and first with Royal Caribbean. Very friendly staff all round. Although it was a sampler there was always something to do no matter what level you were on. I will be back.

Boose Cruise by chrishodgson

Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

The three days was just for gambling, drinking and you can guess the last, not so much of a holiday vibe, all around a good cruise.

We had a wonderful time. Probably the most relaxing and stress free holiday we have ever had. Full credit to the staff on the Voyager. This was our first cruise and it definitely won't be our last. Already looking at booking the next one.

Sail date: /
Ship: Voyager of the Seas

Great cruise great staff don't know why they go to Suva it was a sh** hole 13 years ago and it hasn't changed cabin steward Angel was a wonderful assistance to my wife and myself he is on deck 12. Food in the main dinning room was very ordinary and the food in the windjammer was excellent all the time I would recommend Royal Caribbean International anytime . Happy cruising.
