A fantastic first cruise experience. Definitely do it again in the future with Royal Caribbean. Loved the Junior Suite.
Embarkation

Fantastic. Had booked the Junior Suite. Had priority embarkation. From the terminal to ship took about 10 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
First day buffet and dining room food was terrible. Service was fantastic though. From the second day onwards, the quality of food in the dining room improved markedly. All specialty restaurants were consistently of a high standard in terms of quality of food and service. Would avoid the buffet. The Promenade Cafe was the 'go to' place for a quick bite at all times of the day and night.
We found pre-purchasing the deluxe drink package to be very worthwhile and convenient. Unfortunately the ship occasionally ran out of soy milk.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Ice skating, rock climbing, flow rider, swimming were all great. Lines for the flow rider were a bit long, but tolerable. Small group lessons for the flow rider were value for money.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Ice skating shows were excellent. A must see! Stage shows were a bit hit-and-miss. Too many comedians and not enough Showtime productions. The session times were convenient. The game shows were of average quality.
Children's Programs
Don't have children.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Overall fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Special mention to our stateroom attendant for providing outstanding service throughout the 2 weeks. Two bartenders, though, were less than pleasant to deal with.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship well laid out. Easy to go from one place to the next. Cleaned and seen to be cleaned regularly in both the staterooms and in all public areas. Hand sanitising stations throughout.
Cabin / Stateroom

Surprising spacious Junior Suite. Very comfortable. Loved the walk-in robe. Good sized balcony. Bathroom was a good size, although would have preferred a standalone shower rather than a shower/tub combo. Would also have preferred a coffee table in the living area rather than the 2 extra seats.
Ship tip
If having breakfast at the Windjammer buffet, don't miss the personalised omelette station.
The zip lining excursion was good, however, should have been better organised. They ran out of safety harnesses and that delayed us by at least an hour.
The thermal mud pool excursion was an enjoyable adventure. Bring/wear older clothes than can get dirty or don't mind throwing out afterwards. Feel free to bring a camera. The staff can take photos for you.
The walking tour was very interesting and the guide explained a number of historic sites and landmarks.
Our snorkelling excursion was cancelled due to windy conditions, however the cruise line did reimburse the excursion costs.
The attendants at the terminal could be more helpful and thorough. One attendant did not check our sea pass cards and assumed we were ship crew. We were directed to the exit, instead of the baggage collection area. We had to re-enter the terminal and were escorted to the baggage claim area, then through customs. Smooth going after that.
