We had a wonderful family time and enjoyed every minute. The ship had great entertainment and activities. I loved the size of the ship without 10,000 people! It was exceptional. This was my first cruise with Holland America!

The dining room was spectacular. The food was delicious. The Lido buffet was wonderful as well. We mainly used the dining room!

Our room was on the main deck, close to everything. The ship was perfect!
The Volendam is a smaller and older ship in the line. If you thought that was great try one of the Pinnacle class ships next time, they are a step up while still offering the same great service you experienced.
