Viking Primadonna overview

Experience the Danube River in a unique setting aboard the graceful catamaran-like designed Viking Primadonna. You'll discover the minute you step onboard the sun-lit two-deck atrium the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while basking in the sun. Relax in your river-view stateroom with all the comforts of a boutique hotel - staterooms on the upper and middle decks feature a floor-to-ceiling window and private balcony. Dine on scrumptious regional inspired cuisine at the restaurant, catch up with friends over a cocktail at the Bellevue Bar or unwind after a long day sight seeing with a soothing dip in the hot tub. Best of all the Viking Primadonna will stop in towns and city centers so you can walk off on foot to explore and immerse yourself in the history and culture.

Good way for 5 countries in 1 trip by ChrisP7

Sail date: /
Ship: Viking Primadonna / Destination: Europe

It was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony room which was a nice size, but pricey. The curtains were practically sheer though and that displeased many onboard.

Disappointing - Cruise from Hell by DavidC3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Viking Primadonna / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Ship quality as expected. Captain made a judgement error passing ships outside the channel and his decision cost us 2 night/3 days stuck on the Danube. Viking communication was minimal and it was poorly handled. 3rd day we had to get rescued by an open air grain barge (no bathrooms) to ride 4 hours to the next port and then ride another 5 hours by bus to Bucharest. We lost 3 days of our vacation and despite our efforts to work with Viking have heard nothing from them to date
