Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They knew our names after the first day and if we had a request or question they would get us what we wanted if possible.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was easy to figure out the location of rooms, dining, entertainment, walking areas. All where very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

The size and comfort were great, but the walls groaned and creaked when the sea got a little rough which was 2 of the 4 sea days.

Ship tip

Sign up for shore excursions early the really good one go fast.

Saw the art Deco buildings in town after we spent day on private excursion sampling wines at 2 wineries. Was nice visit.

The capital was a little drive from the port and the view after taking the cable car was impressive. Also enjoyed the Zealandia Eco Reserve and the opportunity to see wildlife as it used to before all the introduced species.

Christchurch, New Zealand

Did the High Country explorer, went on jet boats on the river, and traveled a little high up the foot hills. Great fun on the river. Also learned about the city of Christchurch as we were taken out of town. Done a lot there since the earthquake.

Thanks for this great review. We were on the 27 December, 2022 sailing and felt the same about this great itinerary. One thing I didn't do was the hike to Mt M. Thanks for posting the picture as that would of been a nice hike.
