The weather for November was glorious! Ports were good , but have been before to most. But did enjoy trips at Madeira & Tenerife. Ship wasn't as good as others I been on but was ok

trips off site made easy by berthing so close to each town. 12 day trip with 5 days at sea, leisurely whilst on ship but food was good and plenty to do to relax and do whatever you wanted. We had an excellent superior delux with balcony and sat out regularly. Only downside was anytime dining was limited by available tables, otherwise good value for money

enjoyed all of it my only complaint was I have always used the gym in the mornings for some exercise classes but was very surprised to be told there would be a nominal charge for this but did not expect to pay £7 per session ,which I thought was a bit steep .

A nice ship.  We had a cabin with the balcony and separate sitting area which was well worth paying the extra  as we found the normal balcony cabin a bit cramped. Walk in wardrobe is always easy to access which is another nice feature.  Due to bad weather could not stop at Monte Carlo but still a very nice cruise.  Choice of shows each night is always a bonus, but lack of interesting lectures during the day definitely needs some attention.  Crew always helpful and a nice clean ship.  Feel the dress code needs to be upheld more as noticed some people took advantage.  A good cruise and would recommend.

A lovely cruise suited us as we are seniors everything at the ports was easy access. Ventura was great never sailed in her before we've been on Azura which the same. A great cruise for 7 days considering the distance you sail.

Love the P & O ships, but love getting off and discovering new areas.

Pros: * Restaurant staff were great, and very accommodating for our young family, especially the buffet staff * Drink prices were reasonable and service was good Cons: * Older style ship, so has its obvious limitations with activities etc * Buffet choice was limited (but to be fair I enjoyed) * Embarkation was a joke, 3 hours to get onboard, was the first time since process had changed so hopefully may improve * Kids club was non existent with parents having to stay and no options for toddlers under 2. Very child unfriendly. * Cabin steward, cant believe I am writing this, but first time we havent left an extra tip... couple of occasions we had to go hunt for a towel and toilet roll when they werent provided. Normally these guys and gals absolutely make the cruise for us, but not this time. Seems like a whinge but generally did quite like the ship, but definitely think it's better left to non family cruisers.

This cruise was booked before Covid, we were a bit worried about the potential Omicron variant being much more easily transmitted. But decided to go, keep ourselves were possible away from close contact. Really glad we went, had a great time. So good booked for similar cruise not next year but the year after. Really nice to have the break before returning to work. Good ship, you get what you pay for, P&O fit our budget I can clearly see the offering has been watered down from the past. But still a good. Value as far as we are concerned.

Overall good but this virus changes the whole experience. Coach poor not like eavesway. No luxury like years ago

4th cruise with P&O and again found it very relaxing and enjoyable, Ventura has a lovely atmosphere and doesn't feel too big. P&O dealt with covid changes as best they could and the onboard LFT testing for Portugal was very quick, easy and smooth

Due to Covid this cruise was very different. There were things I could not understand such as, not being allowed to serve yourself in the buffet with most of the food except salad. That you could take at will. Wearing of masks was very tiring. People found it very hard to breath. It was also hard when they took the lifts out of action and people had to walk up the stairs. This was not great.

A great cruise which we enjoyed most of but the buffet breakfast on last morning was a free for all with rude passengers and no organisation. There needs to be a system in place to make it less chaotic.

A great fun New Year's cruise with a fun and friendly festive atmosphere onboard.

Bad weather crossing Bay of Biscay plus medi- vac caused a lost day ... but you have to accept this if travelling in December. Otherwise good trip Ventura in better shape now that last holiday on her in 2015. Very clean.

Very enjoyable trip for some winter sun , pleasant seas throughout as well which for this part of the world in November is a bit unusual. 4th time on ventura and we'll be back on without hesitation if a cruise that we want to go on comes up.

If you want summer sun this cruise is perfect great

Definitely do another one unfortunately unable to afford one for a little while
