This cruise was very eventful starting with an alpha (medical emergency) call to ending with an Oscar (man overboard)call. Captain Rick did a great job informing passengers what was happening and eased the minds in the passengers. Our Oscar call turned out to be a vessel in distress and positioned ourselves to take the passengers onboard.

Fast and easy. Show up at your selected time with all of your set sail documents and it only takes a few minutes until you are onboard.

Food and Dining

Chops grill steaks were perfect, tip order one of each of the sides to try them all. The buffet could have used a little more variety. MDR, the menu is good but I miss the classics. If you have food allergies, tell your waiter so they can accommodate you even if the item is not on the menu.
Onboard Activities

Symphony offer so many activities. Check out the Escape Room and Laser Tag. BTW, the slides are for the big kids too!
Entertainment

Hiro was cut short due to sea conditions but what we saw was exceptional. Also, check out 1977 but don’t be late. The first few minutes of the show are unprecedented.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The crew members always make you feel like part of the family. The way they are able to remember everyone’s name and sometimes their drinks or special items amazes me.
Ship Quality

Take time to walk the promenade, the boardwalk, and Central Park.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony on the starboard side of the ship. Plenty of closet space and lots of hangers.
If you do not want a traditional excursion stay in the port area. There is a pool and a bar. Purchasing drinks or food gives you access to beach chairs and the pool for the day.
We didn’t have perfect weather, so South Beach was cold and windy. If that is the case, there are many other options as Coco Cay has something for everyone. The Oasis Lagoon did a nice job of isolating you from the wind.
Please remember the disembarkation times that you were given by the ship our suggested times as the ship is required to clear customs before you can disembark. We were approximately 30 minutes behind schedule clear and customs. Once cleared the process was simple. Miami has facial recognition so no interview with a custom agent is needed to clear and be on your way.
