Review summary

Overall, we had a nice and relaxing time. I feel that it could be better. We could really feel the effects of short staffing and full guest capacity. It really takes away from the entire experience. I don’t feel they should fill up the ship with guests unless they also have a full crew staff to accommodate us. I feel like they will definitely see a rise in customer complaints if they keep this up.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was smooth since we checked in previously on the App.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDR & Specialty dining was amazing. The Windjammer left a lot to be desired. There were long lines for everything and the food was mediocre.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We enjoyed the activities that we could go on. The hours of operation were sporadic and didn’t make any sense. For example, the flow rider was open for an hour and a half in the morning. Closed for 2 hours. Then reopened again for 2 hrs. Then closed. Then open again at night. It was very frustrating to keep up with the schedule. Also, there are 2 rock climbing walls but only 1 side was open for the entire trip.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were spectacular.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most were friendly enough but I got the feeling that they would much rather be doing something else than catering to us passengers.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Nice design, felt very spacious. Easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Good size cabin. Lots of storage space. Plenty of outlets. Good hair dryer. Spacious and covered balcony. My only complaint was that I could hear everything our neighbors were talking about.

Ship tip

Good ship but it’s so big that it is missing that personalized service. I felt like we were a herd of cows that the crew just wanted to keep us moving along.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
We had questions about our baggage location since we couldn’t find the number of our bag tag. We asked multiple people where number 48 was and the crew just said to “go outside, go outside” and we ended up leaving the port without our bags. Then had to wait for security to clear our bags before we could grab them, which took about 2 hrs. Luckily we didn’t miss our flight! I realize that they need to get us out in a hurry but the least they could do is to help us when we have legitimate questions.

Thank you for sharing. I agree that they are lacking staff. Unfortunate.
