ThIS was our 2nd RC cruise and although we had a good time it was NOT as good as our cruise on Allure in 2014. We have sailed many times on other ships as well. I’m just not a fan of the bigger boats , it’s not as personal and it’s way too crowded . The food is not as good as it use to be years ago. I realize COVID has changed things and they will probably never be like they use to be. The shows were pretty good, however the cruise director needs to step up his game, and if RC wants passengers to use their app. Then they need to fix it and make sure it works. . Also I won’t go in to details but there were several “ issues / mistakes “ made. Nothing big or major but still…. You expect perfection when you spend thousands of dollars.

The staff was always friendly and there to please.some of the food was good, some not. The portions were not as big pre COVID. We did not pay extra for specialty restaurants. We felt like the whole food experience in general all over the ship did not taste as well as it did years ago. I miss the big fancy midnight buffets with all of the fancy decorations in years past. Even the desserts were just mediocre.

I really did not utilize any of these activities but they all looked good for someone who enjoys that kind of stuff.

The aquatic show was great. Ice skating phenomenal. Hairspray and flight good. However there must have been issues because things would get cancelled and rescheduled. I didn’t like having to use the app all the time and make reservations for everything. The comedian was not funny at all. Vulgar. The music in the promenade was too loud in general but they could sing well. I was not impressed at all with the cruise director. He not very engaged with the guests and not as good as others that we have sailed with on other ships. We rarely saw him out and about and half the time didn’t even know what was going on .

All of the waters we encountered were great. Most everyone was very friendly. Our room steward ( RONOLFO RUFANO) was the best! Seriously we have been on several cruises with lots of other cruise lines and he’s the best one ever !

Perfect. Clean spacious. Balcony a nice size.
Ship tip
If you don’t like crowds then pick a smaller ship. But if you must, get a ocean balcony view or somewhere that wouldn’t be loud.
Didn’t seem to be very organized even tho they assign you a time / group to speed the process up. Very long lines. They kept making announcements the morning that we were supposed to leave for passengers to stay put because it was over crowded and backed up where you went to get off ship .
