Review summary

Overall it was a very nice cruise but really missed not stopping at Costa Maya due to seas.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Menu wasn’t particularly good and at times the food was awful. Windjammer for breakfast was fine but didn’t remain open for excursions that came back after 2:30.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were fine and pool was designed for young families.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was the best we ever had!

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Could have used more storage space but, otherwise, it was very comfortable.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

Seas did not allow disembarkation

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Food at Playa Mia excursion needs to improve otherwise it’s a nice excursion.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

1 out of 5
Some areas (pool area) need some heavy maintenance. Food was only passable. Given that Royal owns it, the cost for certain activities is outrageous.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Only trouble was traffic leaving the port but getting off, luggage, and customs was a breeze.
