Not a bad ship/cruise but it wasn't great either. If you are going to advertise something as top of its class, make sure it meets expectations. Other ships have more to offer.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Best ever so far. 5 minutes from the bus and we were through Customs sitting in an airconditioned waiting room. Staff members came to us, scanned our Set Sail pass and we were done. Outstanding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Main Dining Room and Buffet was the same as any other cruise line. Never ate at the specialty restaurants. They were very small and cramped.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Just like other ships. Too many people in the pool areas. The 2 Rock Climbing Walls were much better than most.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Stage Shows were excellent, both indoor and out. The clubs that had bands and DJ's were too small and you felt like sardines crammed in a can.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone had a smile on there face and spoke to you every time you/they walked by. Nevere heard the word "No" or "We can't" the whole cruise.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Being pushed as the largest ship afloat, was expecting some sort of wow factor, but there was none. Their Central Park Theme Deck was a waste of good space that could have catered to the average cruiser instead of the few that actually went to the premier dining there.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Clean and comfortable. They added more power outlets which was a nice surprise.
Ship tip
Don't bring Extension Cords for your powere needs. They will hold your baggage and confiscate your cords. You have to personally sing for you bag and take it to your room.
Actuall disembarkation locations versus what was printed on the ship's handout, were wrong. Could have caused people to miss their early flights if they didn't question the paperwork/procedure.
Wow I was on same sailing and though staff said "no" and "I don't know" a lot. Staff even told me they were out of regular red bull on Tuesday. Turns out they had it all week and that one bar didn't want to restock that day.
