A: I believe you have to wait until you can access the app, or visit a specialty restaurant when you board.

Answered by janetconant on January 11, 2023

Once onboard go to one of the specialty restaurants or the specialty restaurant kiosk on deck 5 and make the rest of your reservations. You can also change the one R... oyal made for you once onboard. You cannot make reservations prior to boarding.See More

A: If you’ve already purchased the package, Royal will automatically make a courtesy reservation for you for either Day 1 or Day 2. If your sailing is accessible via the Royal app you should be able to make additional reservations on your own. I sail... on Wonder in May and made 3 reservations at different restaurants.See More

A: RCL is the best cruise line out there. It certainly is not geared toward older crowds. Walmart, I mean Carnival is a ship full of drunken fools.

Answered by RoyalCruzer on January 2, 2023

A: RCL is fun and in most cases has the WOW factor when it comes to ships and shows. CCL has them beat hands down when it comes to fun and partying however, you are dealing with a crowd that might be a bit to relaxed and party hard. Age does not matter... because both cruiseline are loaded with fun, food excitement. Beyond these 2 cruise lines you will start to get into the more relaxed and reserved cruiser. Just remember a cruise is what you make it and have fun.See More

Answered by Gheemaster38 on January 2, 2023

A: Anyone who says RCL is geared more toward seniors is mistaken. Now I would agree if they said that about Celebrity Cruises which is part of the RCL Group but not Symphony of the Seas.

Answered by Sherry2017 on January 2, 2023

A: We've been on Symphony of the Seas 3 times- loved it because there is so much to do if you want to. But I got to say those darn old people were hogging the Flowriders, zipline, slides, and don't get me started on the merry-go-round 🤪

Answered by safarisusan on January 2, 2023

A: Symphony is an amazing piece of art, with passengers of all ages. There are many activities to stay entertained or places just to relax. Will be on the SOS again 1/7/23 with a group of family & friends. It is my favorite ship!

Answered by Lisa2022 on January 4, 2023

A: Royal is geared for all ages. They aren’t as rowdy as some Carnival sailings. Some of the RCL ships have late night parties geared towards the younger crowds as well. Also research the ship you are considering. Some of the RCL ships also have a bar c... alled Playmakers which is a sports bar that often have a younger crowd socializing.See More

A: On my cruises we usually come in between 330-600 am. The earliest anyone has left the ship was around 715 and that happened only once in 8 cruises.

Answered by Gheemaster38 on January 1, 2023

A: With so many people doing self carry and trying to get off at the same time it was nearly a nightmare. We stood in line for about 40 minutes just trying to get off the ship. Just cruised first week of Dec. Airline changed our flight and we were re... ally worried we wouldn’t make it. Thank goodness the airport wasn’t too crowded. Way too stressful, get a flight after noon.See More

Answered by agfstamps on January 1, 2023

A: I believe they recommend not booking a flight before noon. You can carry your luggage off yourself if you wish and it doesn't take long but you won't be getting off immediately. The ship has to be cleared by officials first. We usually get ready, hav... e breakfast and then make our way off.See More

Answered by loriad28 on January 1, 2023

A: If you have an earlier flight please arrange an Uber ahead of time. Waiting for a taxi will take you hours possibly.

A: My daughter got married on the Symphony last year. It was absolutely beautiful.

Answered by reneeminich on November 30, 2022

A: Depends on what you are used to. I always bring a sweater and pants for events in the ice skating rink but normally it's warm enough without them.

Answered by safarisusan on October 18, 2022

A: There is a helicopter pad on the ship but when I cruised in July it was closed. But you can get a great view right above the bridge.

Answered by iCaptain on October 1, 2022

A: Yes, there is a helicopter pad on the bow. No, you cannot go there, it is a secure area.

A: They are attached in your E-Doc's . You can print them yourself that already has your stateroom number on it. But to be honest, when I got to the port and the bag handlers had tags on them in case you didn't print yours. So either way, don't stress.... Have a great trip. I get to sail on her December 3rd. Can't wait!!See More

Answered by OceanBreezeLid on September 19, 2022

A: Go on line into your reservation (or on your app) to check-in and you will be able to print them from there. We are on the same voyage.

Answered by RoyalCruzer on September 19, 2022

A: They have them. Are they not towards the end of the e-docs? You can also get them at the curb from the porter.

A: bigger ship shakes less but it still does don't stay on the higher floor, and the rest depends on the wind and wave, but compare to something like anthem of the sea, symphony of the sea shaking is almost not noticeable a floor 4 through 8

Answered by SoySauce on August 31, 2022

A: If you dont want to feel movement at all... Dont take a cruise!!! I mean seriously... Its a ship on the ocean. So duh... Its going to move!! lol. If you are prone to motion sickness, figure out why, and take the preventative steps to correct it.

Answered by CVCruiser on August 31, 2022

A: I personally never get sea sick however my daughter does. She likes Dramamine and takes it daily. My husband likes a homeopathic oil that he puts behind his ears. I have been on Harmony of the Seas which is slightly smaller and never felt it moving.... Looking forward to Symphony in 67 more days 😎See More

Answered by Scorcher8u on August 30, 2022

A: my partner suffers from motion sickness hence we went on Symphony. Midship cabin. There was a bit of motion on a fast run but she did not feel unwell at all.

Answered by billericaydicky on August 28, 2022

A: I haven’t been on Symphony yet (56 more days!!) but been on Oasis twice, Freedom twice and Independence twice. I only felt the movement once and I was already not feeling well so I think that just exacerbated it. Went to bed early and was fine the n... ext day. I recommend getting off at every port too. Even just to walk around by the ship to prevent any issues.See More

Answered by cruzfangirl on August 28, 2022

A: Just got off the Symphony yesterday & there was no movement at all. Keep in mind, it all depends on the condition of the seas. We had a day of 12' swells & still felt no movement.
