Symphony of the Seas Cruise Reviews - Q&A

4.6
My wife and I are trying to plan a future cruise and we are leaning towards a rcl cruise but a few people in are party are worried that rcl is geared more towards the older generation. Im trying to convince them that no matter what cruise you will have a mix of ages. Can anyone share their experience with this ship?

RCL is the best cruise line out there. It certainly is not geared toward older crowds. Walmart, I mean Carnival is a ship full of drunken fools.

RCL is fun and in most cases has the WOW factor when it comes to ships and shows. CCL has them beat hands down when it comes to fun and partying however, you are dealing with a crowd that might be a bit to relaxed and party hard. Age does not matter because both cruiseline are loaded with fun, food excitement. Beyond these 2 cruise lines you will start to get into the more relaxed and reserved cruiser. Just remember a cruise is what you make it and have fun.

Anyone who says RCL is geared more toward seniors is mistaken. Now I would agree if they said that about Celebrity Cruises which is part of the RCL Group but not Symphony of the Seas.

We've been on Symphony of the Seas 3 times- loved it because there is so much to do if you want to. But I got to say those darn old people were hogging the Flowriders, zipline, slides, and don't get me started on the merry-go-round 🤪

Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas is a great ship. People of all ages were on when we went. The Oasis class is very large and offers so much to do with outstanding shows. You will enjoy it if you can be prepared and do your research on everything to do prior to your trip!

Royal is geared for all ages. They aren’t as rowdy as some Carnival sailings. Some of the RCL ships have late night parties geared towards the younger crowds as well. Also research the ship you are considering. Some of the RCL ships also have a bar called Playmakers which is a sports bar that often have a younger crowd socializing.

Symphony is an amazing piece of art, with passengers of all ages. There are many activities to stay entertained or places just to relax. Will be on the SOS again 1/7/23 with a group of family & friends. It is my favorite ship!

No way!!! Royal has something for everyone! We are loyal to Royal and not interested in switching. We cruise with a group and our February group will range from 3 years old to 77 years old.

we were on Symphony 3 times since June and I can attest that isn't true. As a matter of fact, on our Nov cruise, only 7% were over 60. I was surprised by the numbers. I feel sure you will all have an amazing time.

Honestly it is truly a mixed crowd. It may also be a preference thing as well. I prefer RCL, & it’s our favorite cruise line but we have ventured to NCL. Our experience on this ship was breathtaking and amazing! We quickly became fans!! There is something for everyone! So much to do and see. The shows are AMAZING! The food is fantastic. I especially love when you get to whatever port for that day, in the buffet area they will serve something from that island. I hope this helps. You will truly enjoy ur experience on this ship and this cruise line!!
